Privacy notice
Last updated 28 September 2026
BeeBrand (the website at beebrand.us and the application at panel.beebrand.us) is operated by PurpleClear LLC ("we", "us"). This notice explains what personal information we handle when you use BeeBrand, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: privacy@beebrand.us.
1. What we collect
- Account details from Google. You sign in with Google. We receive and keep your name, email address, profile picture address and Google's identifier for your account. We never see your Google password.
- What you and your team put in. Clients, status notes, tasks, risks, to-dos, calendar events, documents and files, chat messages, bookmarks and report pages, and who created or changed them and when.
- Security settings. If you turn on two-factor authentication, we store what is needed to check it: the authenticator-app secret, the public key of each security key you register, and your recovery codes in a form that cannot be read back.
- Session records. When you sign in we create a session, kept in a single cookie. We store the session in a form that cannot be turned back into the cookie, with when it was created and when it expires.
- Technical data. Like any website, our servers see your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and to limit abuse (for example, too many sign-in attempts). Our request logs record the address requested, the response status and how long it took; they do not record your IP address or anything you typed.
2. Cookies
The application uses one strictly necessary cookie, which keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by scripts and is only sent over secure connections. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, and the beebrand.us website sets no cookies at all.
3. How we use it
To provide BeeBrand to you and your organization; to keep it secure (sign-in, two-factor checks, preventing abuse); to answer you when you contact us; to operate billing when you choose a paid plan; and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. AI features
Some features use an AI model: dashboard summaries, "Analyze with AI", "Suggest with AI" and the assistant. When you use one, the content it needs (for example a client's status sections or risks) is sent to the model provider we use, Ollama. That includes models Ollama runs in its own cloud. It is sent only to produce your answer. We do not use your content to train models. AI answers can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them.
5. Visitors to pages and forms you publish
With BeeBrand you can publish pages (at pages.beebrand.us), a booking page and a lead form. For the people who visit them, you decide what to collect, and we process it on your behalf:
- Page statistics. A published page counts views, time on the page, how far visitors scroll and whether they start and send its lead form. This uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses: a browser tab gets a random identifier, kept only in a hashed form and for no longer than two days, and what we keep is daily totals. Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel run on your page only if you add their IDs; their own terms then apply.
- Bookings and leads. What a visitor enters in your booking or lead form (name, e-mail and the answers you ask for) is stored for your organization. A lead's e-mail domain, message and answers are sent to our AI model provider (section 4) to prepare a short assessment for you; it is sent only for that purpose.
If you publish pages or forms, tell your visitors what you collect and why, in your own privacy notice. Visitors who want their data corrected or deleted can ask you, or write to us.
6. The Hive and Beekeepers
If you join the Hive or apply to be a Beekeeper, you tell us a few more things. They belong to you, not to any organization you are a member of.
- Joining the Hive. Your first name, an optional business name, an optional sentence about your idea, and your city and US state. The people in your Hive see your first name and business name — never your e-mail address unless you choose to share it. Only the BeeBrand team sees your idea sentence; we use it to place you in the right Hive and to understand what people are starting.
- City and state only. We use them to place you in a Hive and to show the Beekeepers closest to you first, using a list of US places kept on our own servers. We never collect your street address or your precise location, and we do not look up your location from your IP address.
- Beekeeper applications. Your name or business name, contact e-mail, website, profession, city and state, the people you serve, bio, rate and free intro session. The BeeBrand team reviews them; once approved, your listing (not your e-mail address) is shown to BeeBrand users.
- Messages with Beekeepers. Your conversations with a Beekeeper, and the files sent in them, are seen by the two of you. We store them encrypted; files are encrypted under a key that belongs to the person who started the conversation and is destroyed with their account. For a Beekeeper's dashboard we count profile views, Message clicks and conversations — as numbers, not who viewed.
- Your Path. To tick your milestones we count things in your companies (for example, how many client spaces or published pages there are) at the moment you look; we keep only which milestones you reached, never a copy of your companies' content.
- Honey Board stories. A story you write is checked by our AI model (it looks for personal data, harmful advice, self-promotion and income figures, and may correct spelling) and read by the BeeBrand team before anybody else sees it. You choose whether it shows your first name and city or stays anonymous. If you tick the box, we may share it on Instagram or TikTok; we record when you agreed, and you can untick it by editing the story. You can edit or delete it at any time.
- Referrals. When somebody signs up through your referral link we record that you referred them, so you get your token; we record the tokens you give and which Beekeeper you gave them to.
7. Who else sees it
- Your organization. Members of an organization see its content. Guests you invite into a client's chat see that chat and nothing else.
- People you share links with. Anyone who holds a document share link, a calendar (iCal) link or a report-page link can open what it points to. You can revoke these links at any time.
- Service providers who help us run BeeBrand: Google (sign-in), our AI model provider (section 4) and, for paid plans, a payment processor. The processor handles your card details; we never receive your card number. Providers may only use the information to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us. If PurpleClear LLC is involved in a merger or sale, information may transfer as part of it, and this notice continues to apply to it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account or organization exists. Anything you delete is removed from the service. When an organization is deleted, its content is deleted with it. Copies in our backups are overwritten as the backups roll over. We may keep what we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons, and only for as long as we must.
9. Security
Connections to the Service are encrypted (HTTPS). Every client's data is kept separate within your organization. Sessions and recovery codes are stored in forms that cannot be read back, and you can protect your account with an authenticator app or a hardware security key. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
10. Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your information in the application. You can also ask us to give you a copy, to correct something, or to delete your account, by writing to privacy@beebrand.us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or certain US states), you may have further rights: to object to or restrict some processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your data-protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using them. If your organization's administrator controls your account, we may pass your request to them.
11. Where your data is
BeeBrand is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. It may also reach the countries where our service providers operate.
12. Children
BeeBrand is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the application or by email before it takes effect.
