Beekeeper Terms
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms apply to professionals listed as Beekeepers in BeeBrand, provided by PurpleClear LLC ("we", "us"). They add to our Terms of Service, which also apply. By applying to be a Beekeeper you agree to them.
1. What a Beekeeper is
A Beekeeper is an independent professional — an accountant, a lawyer, a marketer, a founder or another expert — listed in the Beekeepers directory so that people starting a business can find them and message them inside BeeBrand. Being listed does not make you our employee, agent, partner or representative, and you must not present yourself as one.
2. Applying and approval
We review every application by hand and may approve it, decline it or ask for changes. We may ask you to show a license or a qualification. We may revoke an approval at any time if your listing is inaccurate, if you break these terms, or if we reasonably believe keeping you listed would harm the people who use BeeBrand.
3. The listing fee
- Free trial. Your first 3 months from approval are free. No card is needed to apply; you add one before the trial ends to stay listed, and we remind you in the app 14 and 3 days before.
- After the trial the fee is monthly and depends on your lifetime leads — a lead is a new conversation a user starts with you: $50 a month while you have had up to 50 leads, $75 from 51 to 100, and $100 from 101 on. The tier is worked out at the start of each billing cycle from your lifetime leads, and your dashboard shows your tier and how many leads to the next one.
- Regulated professions — law and accounting — pay a flat $75 a month after the trial, whatever the number of leads.
- Referral tokens. People can give you the referral tokens they earned. At each billing cycle, the tokens you have received are applied automatically at $10 each against that month's fee, never more than the fee. Tokens have no cash value and are never paid out.
- Prices are in US dollars and may exclude taxes. We tell you in advance of any change to the fee.
4. If the fee is not paid, or you cancel
You can cancel at any time; the listing stays until the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel, your profile is hidden from the directory when that period ends; if a payment fails, it stays listed for 7 days while the payment is retried, then is hidden. Without a card at the end of the free trial, it is hidden then. Conversations you already have stay readable, and you can keep replying in them for 30 days; after that they are read-only. Paying again restores your profile.
5. Your services and your fees
- You set your own prices, agree your own terms with the people you help, invoice them and are paid by them directly. We take no commission and are not a party to any agreement or payment between you and a user.
- You offer the free intro session shown on your card, of the length and format you chose.
- You are responsible for your work and its quality, and for holding every license, registration and insurance your profession requires where you practise. Regulated professionals follow the rules of their profession, including on conflicts of interest and client confidentiality.
- You are responsible for your own taxes.
6. Your listing and how you behave
- Keep your profile accurate and current: your name, profession, location, rate and what you help with. No misleading claims, no guaranteed results, and no income promises.
- Reply to people professionally. Do not spam, pressure or mislead anybody, and do not advertise yourself in the Hive's group chats or success stories — your listing is where you are found.
- You may share your contact details with the people you talk to, and they may share theirs. Use what you learn about a user only to provide the services they asked you for.
7. How Beekeepers are ordered
The directory groups Beekeepers by profession and shows them closest to the user first — same city, then same state, then those who work remotely. The listing fee never affects that order, and there are no paid boosts.
8. Messages and data
Conversations with users are kept in BeeBrand, so that we can help if something goes wrong. We encourage keeping them there, but do not require it. Our Privacy notice explains how we handle your data and theirs; you handle the personal information users give you under the privacy laws that apply to you.
9. Ending
You can stop being a Beekeeper at any time by cancelling your listing. We may suspend or end your listing for a breach of these terms or of the Terms of Service, with notice where we reasonably can.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, as the Terms of Service are. We may change them; we will tell you in advance of a material change, and continuing to be listed after it takes effect means you accept it. Questions: privacy@beebrand.us.
